Marie de Drouas

Marie de Drouas is specialized in EU and French competition law. She focuses on merger control, cartel and abuse of dominance cases, with a particular emphasis on the telecommunication, transport, consumer goods, real estate and energy sectors. She assists clients both on the plaintiff and defendant side. She has a specific experience in antitrust follow-on damages litigation.

Marie's practice covers all aspects of competition and distribution law.

She practiced with Clifford Chance in Paris within the Antitrust team for 10 years. She then set up her own practice before cofounding NIDDAM-DROUAS AVOCATS in 2017.

Before joining the Paris Bar, she worked in the Franco-British business team of an English law firm in London.

Marie is a member of the French Association for Competition Studies (AFEC) and of the French Association of Competition Law Practitioners (APDC).

In merger control, the team is assisting EBM and Lucia Holding in the acquisition of joint control over companies active in the supply of gas and electricity."
